Looking for a roommate in this former farmhouse! The bedroom in question is unfurnished and 11m². The total house is about 115m² and is already furnished, but space can be made if the new tenant wants to bring a bookcase, bench or something else. The living room, dining room, kitchen and bathroom are shared with me. The owner of the house is the province of North Holland. The plot of land will probably be sold in February 2026, so then we will (probably) have to move out unfortunately. The entire plot of land (garden) is about 1000m². I have 4 very sweet bunnies who live in an outdoor run and in a part of the garage. I keep taking care of the bunnies, but of course they only like extra attention ;)I moved here in January this year with a friend, but she moved out this month. Hence the search for a new roommate. I'm 29 and I've been working for almost two years now. For that reason, my preference is for someone who is just starting out. However, a student or someone who has been working for a little longer does not have to be a problem. Male or female roommate doesn't matter to me, as long as we click. :)The rural surroundings of Uitdam are beautiful, and yet Amsterdam is just a stone's throw away. Amsterdam-Noord is 35 minutes by bike, Amsterdam Central 55 minutes. Options with public transport: There is a local bus that stops in front of the house every hour, but it only runs until 6 p.m. and therefore not so frequent. The adjacent village (Broek in Waterland) has a very good bus connection with Amsterdam. There is an (express) bus every 5 minutes, which takes you to Amsterdam Noord station in 7 to 8 minutes. So you first have to cycle to Broek in Waterland (20 min). For that reason, I bought a car myself, and I would definitely recommend it if you don't like cycling or don't want to be dependent on public transport. Furthermore, the Markermeer (including beach) is 5 minutes by bike from the house. Nearest large supermarket is in Monnickendam.
