Blijdorp is famous for hosting the Diergaarde Blijdorp, one of the most well-known zoos in the Netherlands. Blijdorp is well-connected by public transportation, making it easily accessible from other parts of Rotterdam. The Rotterdam Central railway station is just a short distance away.
