The location is perfect since Delfshaven is an increasingly popular Rotterdam location, in the middle of the city! The Rochussenstraat is located just around the corner from the Heemraadssingel and nearby the Mathenesserlaan and the Nieuwe Binnenweg, which means that all daily amenities such as supermarkets, shops, coffee bars and nice cafes/restaurants such as Café Stein and Rijke en de Witte are just around the corner. The heart of the city center can be reached within walking distance and also several metro- and tram stops are just a stones throw away. Rotterdams cultural precint, including The Depot, Kunsthal and The Boijmans Museum are all only a leisurely stroll away.
