Huize t Pott has been a student house since 1968. With its rich history dating back to the year 1880, Huize t Pott is not only a student house, but also an iconic house for the city of Enschede.This old textile villa is now the luxurious accommodation of 8 active and enterprising students. This luxury is reflected in the spacious rooms, each of which is at least 20 square meters. In addition, our house has a spacious living room with its own bar and fireplace. In addition to the large seating area, there is also room for our pool table and cinema. We also have two kitchens and two bathrooms and not at least a jacuzzi. In addition to all these tangible benefits, it is precisely the intangible that makes this house so beautiful. The strong bond that each resident has with each other as well as former residents means that we live here as a close-knit group of friends. For example, we undertake fun activities together every week. We also have connections, inside and outside Enschede, with many houses and fraternities. As a result, there are often cozy get-togethers. In addition to the fact that there is a lot of fun, we also pay attention to each other's studies and encourage this. Because we each have our own homework, responsibility is something that can certainly be found at Huize t Pott. This responsibility can also be found every year in the largest student house gala in the Netherlands, t Pott Gala. We organize this traditional gala ourselves, together with the help of former residents, in and around our house.
