Translate*We are looking for Dutch speaking people only*Do you want to combine your studies with a great time as a student? Then VLX is for you! We are a men's house in the north of Enschede within safe cycling distance of the center (record 2 minutes) and the campus (fifteen minutes). At the moment we live with five residents at D.E.C.H. VLX, of which a place will become available for a new resident to keep the house complete! As a new roommate, you'll know the ins and outs of Enschede in no time. We are all active in student life and are looking for someone who adds something to the atmosphere, fuels the party and keeps it going! Someone who wants to get the most out of his student life, but also understands that this can go hand in hand with academic performance! After a long day of lectures, you always come home to an oasis of peace on VLX. You deserve a beer, luckily the beer is always cold on VLX. We think it's important to have our affairs in order. The coffee from freshly ground beans, the latest hits from surround sound speakers, dinners with the neighbor and excelling in the kitchen is the standard. On Monday evenings we always have a house evening, where we provide a delicious three-course menu together. Even if you are not yet a good cook, you will transform from cookie baker to chef within a week during our cooking week. In addition to being a place to relax, VLX is also a good place for glands and bulls. Within a short time, you know everyone well enough to quickly chase them down and make them bite. This atmosphere has not changed since 1985. This is also reflected in our annual Old Dick Day where texts such as: "I bought this table somewhere in 1987!" are not rare. In addition, we have had a real house car on VLX for a few years now! A nice bonus, in other words. So it is never a big step to take a nice house outing together and get into the car, although it is sometimes used as a taxi to the UT on a rainy day!
