Dear room seeker (m/f),We (Jolien and Wouter) are looking for a new roommate from June. Jolien is a 1st-year MST student and plays viola with Krashna Musika, so you get a private concert every now and then, whether you like it or not. In addition, she is trying to get better and better at cooking, but if you have any good tips, please let me know. Wouter is a 6th-year student and is doing a bachelor's degree in aviation technology. He is also active at Proteus (the rowing club) and his most recent hobby project is his record player, especially ask about the collection of records. We drink a lot of tea indoors and we try to eat together a few times a week. In practice, we mainly see each other in the corridors and good conversations are held in the doorways. We are a small (but nice) 3-house on the E. du Perronlaan on the 16th floor, so nice view (if the windows are clean)! The house has a small kitchen with dining table and a shared bathroom and toilet. We also have a storage room and a balcony (with a light pigeon infestation, which is being worked on). The campus is about 15 minutes by bike (10 minutes if you're in a hurry), but always allow 5 minutes of waiting time for the elevator. The station is about the same distance away and the supermarket is within rolling distance. So if you ever run out of toilet paper, your roommate could be back before you're done. On the other side of the street is also the shopping center de Hoven, in short, everything is nice and nearby. The room that will become available is approximately 18m2 and will be delivered bare. However, there is the option to buy the laminate floor and the bed. The rental price is €385.11 p/m (rent allowance is possible) with gas/water/electricity/wifi/etc. included. We are looking for a cozy addition to our house, who appreciates our open-door policy and chats with us in the hallway.
