Jan-Wellem-Penthouse
Johann Wilhelm II., Elector of the Palatinate, Duke of Jülich-Berg, Count Palatine of Neuburg – affectionately called "Jan Wellem" in Düsseldorf – was born in 1658 in düsseldorf City Castle. In 1679 he took on the Jülich-berg succession as Elector of the Palatinate and Archtruchsess of the Roman Empire. This marked the beginning of a brilliant period in Düsseldorf's city history: the residence became one of the cultural centres of Europe.
The spacious 205 m2 penthouse with its two Rhine-side loggias and the Erker refuge offers an indescribable view over the Rhine, the Rhine riverside promenade, the Rheinpark up to the TV tower and the media harbour. It also features a large terrace facing the garden on the south side. The high-quality, new and fully furnished penthouse leaves nothing to be desired. Of course, the penthouse is fully air-conditioned.
