TranslateEnjoy pure village idyll in the big city! The country house you rent is the oldest residential building on the Dorfanger and was built in 1848 for the farm workers of the then farm owner. It has been restructured and completely refurnished by January 2019. The Sophienhof has been owned by the Zeihe family since 2016. Alt-Lübars is the most beautiful, still preserved village in Berlin.
On the ground floor of the house there is the living room with fireplace and seating and dining area, followed by a light-flooded conservatory, the guest toilet and the utility room. There is also a study and a small guest room. The fully furnished kitchen on the ground floor overlooks the beautiful garden and the paddocks behind the house. In the attic there are two bedrooms as well as the bathroom with shower and large tub.
Your house is located in a beautiful garden with terrace directly opposite the church in the historic core of the village. By car you are in the city center in about 30-45 minutes. In addition, there is a bus in the village to the S-Bahn to Waidmannslust. From there you are in the center in 25 minutes. Tegel Airport is 20 minutes away and the main train station is a 30-minute drive away.
Within a two-kilometre radius you will find several supermarkets, pharmacies, drugstores and banks, as well as kindergartens, primary and secondary schools. In the village there are three good restaurants and a country slaughterhouse. The ice cream parlour is highly appreciated by many guests from near and far. With the River Valley you have a perfect jogging area right on your doorstep. If you like horseback riding, several farms are available for riding or for your own horse. A beautiful outdoor swimming pool is within walking distance.

If you go into the city by car, you'll reach the Berlin city highway in 10 minutes, the city center in 30 minutes, Tegel Airport in 20 minutes and the central station in 30 minutes. There's a bus going to the main subway stations – you'll find the bus stop in two minutes walking distance.
There're some cosy restaurants in the village and a very popular ice cream parlour – yummy! If you're into sports, you'll find a nice running area in the lovely fields of the "Tegeler Fließ". It's even possible to arrange riding lessons at the farms near by. And for hot summer days, a beautiful open air bath in walking distance awaits you.
