English: A light and large family flat by the Moulin Rouge, in the heart of South Pigalle (or "SoPi" as the parisians like to call it) and a stones throw away from the Rue Lepic and the leafy village of Montmartre. Conveniently located with easy access to business districts via public transportation.
We are taking a sabbatical so it has never been rented but is available all year. Please don't hesitate to ask questions or even come and see it before you book.
There is a large fully equipped kitchen with a table that can seat 8/10 people and with 2 armchairs if you want to watch the chef from a comfy seat. The living room has a fireplace, two sofas, a bubble chair and a fender seat. The fireplace works wonderfully in winter (or in summer if you are very warm blooded).
The main bedroom has ample cupboard and shelf space and a queen size bed. The guest bedroom can be organised into 2 single beds or a small double bed for guests. (The photos will be updated, we are swapping the bunk bed). There is a third bedroom/ study with a corner desk and a small single bed. There is no door on this room, although there is a curtain for privacy. All windows are equipped with double glazing.
The bathroom is recently renovated and has a power shower in the bath. There is a separate wc off the large front hall. We have a lovely cleaner called Lia who comes in once a week and will change sheets and towels. This is included in the price, although the final clean will be charged at 100€ so there is an incentive to stay longer!
The flat is located on the first floor of a recently renovated, classic parisian apartment building, with fully secured access and has no upstairs neighbours. Babybjorn cot, bouncer and a high chair are all available if needed.
The flat is really really well located. Metro station Blanche is next door and Pigalle, Place de Clichy and Abesses are within a 5 to 10 minute walk. Galeries Lafayette and Printemps are also at walking distance. There are buses that leave from just outside the building, that take you over the Seine, or just drop you 7 minutes away in Opera. The very peaceful and green cemetery of Montmartre is 5 minutes walk away if you want to get away from the action and bustle around the flat.
The area is highly sought after by Parisians to live as it offers a good mix of fresh markets, street shopping, bars, restaurant, theaters, in a charming and riendly neighbourhood.
