Newly decorated in March 2021 - my light and spacious 2 bedroom house is situated just a short 15 minute walk into York city centre. Comes with the bonus of a small off road parking space, making it the ideal choice for your visit to York.We support responsible travel within the current restrictions and therefore my property is available for booking where the purpose of your stay falls within the current guidelines set out by the local Government.The property is professionally cleaned and the linen/ towels are replaced with freshly laundered supplies between each stay. We offer remote access with easy self check-in and 24/7 guest support should you need any assistance during your stay.Ground FloorA spacious open plan living dining area with double sofa and two matching armchairs. The kitchen includes use of a fridge freezer, oven, hob and washing machine. There is a kettle and toaster so you can have breakfast at home.First FloorUpstairs there are two double bedrooms, both with double beds and generous storage facilities. The modern bathroom has a shower over the bath. This lovely house ensures complete comfort. And not forgetting the enclosed rear garden which is a must to be enjoyed on a sunny day!If you are looking for a long term stay then my homely property will make the perfect base. I aim to be as accommodating as possible. A travel cot and mattress can be provided at an extra fee of £20 (please request in advance). A brand new fan has recently been added to the property too. Dogs and cats will be considered - please read 'Other things to note'.Guests will have access to the entire house.Other things to noteCHECK IN / CHECK OUTCheck-in time is after 3pm and check-out time is before 11am. A £30 charge will be requested if guests check themselves in early without permission or if guests do not check out on time as this will cause disruption to my cleaner’s schedule.Please note that you will be charged £100 for lost keys, so please be careful with them.TRAVEL COTA travel cot and mattress can be borrowed at an additional cost of £20. Please ensure you message before hand so that I can arrange for the installation. Guests will need to bring their own cot bedding, including a bottom sheet. (I am afraid highchair requests cannot be met).PETSPets are welcome for longer term lets on a case by case basis. An additional minimum fee of £30 will be requested to cover extra cleaning. Please message me in advance with the details of your pet.PARKINGThere is parking in the driveway for 1 medium/small car i.e. mini, ford fiesta or smaller vehicle. The street is permit parking so this restricts a second car or a larger vehicle, but there are other neighbouring streets where free parking can be found. Energy pass Energy pass not available, yet / In application process This lovely house has a perfect location, close to the city centre, yet in a quiet neighbourhood. Enjoy the outdoors with Homestead Park which is great for children and is less than a 5 minutes walk. Walk down by the river to find leafy Museum Gardens with it's ancient 11th century abby ruins inside. Wander down Bootham on route to the city centre, with its grand Georgian terraced houses, independent shops and cafes. You can find stylish tea shops, cheery pubs, and cosy restaurants serving tapas or curry in this vibrant neighbourhood. There is a bus stop just 5 min away on Clifton Road. Furthermore, York Train station is a 15 minute walk from the house along the River Ouse. Getting around is easiest on foot and you can leave your car parked in the driveway.
