Proficiency in the Dutch language is a requirement! The student house has a permit (2017) from the municipality of Amsterdam and was established in 2008. The apartment has been completely renovated and has new window frames with HR++ insulating glass, cavity insulation, new radiators, sound-insulating walls between the rooms, floating floors with soundproofing, fire alarms per room, all according to the requirements of the municipality of Amsterdam and more. The apartment is located right next to metro station Ganzenhoef in Amsterdam, metro 53 with a direct connection to Central Station and connections to the rest of Amsterdam. The apartment is part of a monumental tower complex which is located in the Joop van Stigtpark, plus green and forest areas all around. AH, Kruidvat, Medical Center with Pharmacy, Cafeteria and Restaurants opposite the complex. Arena area 10 minutes by bus. The room is fully furnished and upholstered. Optionally incl. bed linen. Access to general balcony via the common room. It is not allowed to bring your own furniture. Amenities: 2 bathrooms, 2 toilets, equipped kitchen with combi oven, dishwasher, large fridge/freezer, 2 cooking facilities, 2 extractor hoods. Everything in terms of plates, cutlery, pans, etc. is available. In 1 bathroom are the fully automatic washing machine and heat pump dryer. The residential towers are closed with a badge system, visitors report via the video intercom. Smoking is not allowed inside the apartment. Being able to live with other students is a requirement, but you are also expected to be able to live independently sufficiently, to be able to handle the equipment provided and to be careful with it. Feeling responsible for the service provided and for general hygiene is a prerequisite. Registration in the BRP (Personal Records Database Amsterdam) is a requirement and required due to the permit. In terms of transport and distances, a study at Acta, Vu, Hes, InHolland, Science Park, UvA Amstel or - Weesperplein, - Roetersplein is the most logical. Preference is given to potential tenants who come from far away within the Netherlands. Based on this, I select candidates in a ranking. On the basis of this list, a telephone interview may follow. Only then would you be eligible for a viewing, which of course can only take place after the interview has made a good impression on me. This interview is not automatically followed by the right to view and cannot take place other than on a mutually agreed date and time. Involved parents are very much appreciated and I ask them to come along during the viewing. An appointment for a viewing and the viewing itself does not give any right to obtain the room!
