A room will become available in Amsterdam East from mid-November/1 December. It is a room of 12m2 on the Reinwardtstraat, in a quiet side street of the Dappermarkt. Close to nice cafes, restaurants, the Oosterpark and the Muiderpoortstation.De rent is +- 600 inclusive (landlord will come up with a proposal) and you share the kitchen, living room, bathroom and balcony with Jelle and Mara. Jelle (29?) and Mara (30) are both doing PhDs. Jelle on transition to circular agriculture at Wageningen University and Mara on biodiversity transition at Erasmus University Rotterdam. We are looking for someone who is also in their late 20s or early 30s and preferably doing a PhD. Not because we want to live with PhD peers, but because the landlord only provides campus contracts. We love socializing and eating together, but also like to keep the peace and quiet in the house – to keep it pleasant in this relatively small (57m2) and noisy house. We also sometimes do things together in the weekends such as a DIY weekend or sailing together on Mara's boat. Furthermore, we have a high tolerance for silly and ironic jokes.
