With it's golden sands the beach is the perfect setting for making those all important 'core memories'.Local wildlife visits the lodge, so sit back, relax and enjoy everything Criffel Lodge has to offer.Furry friends welcome!The spaceDrive up the winding track through a beautifully landscaped golf course and you will come across Criffel Lodge.Enter the lodge to find a large, spacious, open plan sitting, dining and kitchen area beneath a lovely vaulted lodge ceiling.The fully equipped kitchen is a great space for social meal preparation with a good size dining table for family meals. With patio doors in both the seating and dining areas, the space is light and bright during the day, but, is cosy and welcoming in the evening.A large and super comfortable L shaped modular sofa means there is plenty of space to relax in front of the tv in the evening or enjoy family games night!Enjoy morning coffee or an evening glass of wine on the balcony whilst admiring the views or watching the local wildlife (there is even a chalk board in the lodge to mark all the wildlife you have spotted!)The lodge has 3 bedrooms.Bedroom 1 is a good size double room with lovely views to the garden area and countryside beyond, bedroom 2 is again a spacious room with 2 single beds and views across to a charming small woodland area, bedroom 3 again has 2 single beds, each bedroom has built-in wardrobe space with plenty of room for belongings.The main bathroom has a bath with shower, WC & basin, however, the lodge also has the benefit of an additional separate cloakroom for convenience.There are gardens to the rear and side of the lodge with additional outdoor seating on the lawn area at the rear. The garden area is a good size with plenty of grass space for children to play between those all important visits to Sandyhills beach.Sandyhills is just around the corner and a short walk from the lodge and is one of the regions most stunning beaches.There are plenty of things to do when staying at Criffel Lodge, sunny days at the beach (we actually get more here in Scotland than you may think!), golf on the doorstep, hiking and walking routes and the 7Stanes cycle trail in nearby Dalbeattie, are only a few of the activities to enjoy during your stay.We are delighted to welcome back year after year many regular guests at Criffel Lodge and we are so happy that over the years our beautiful part of this stunning and incredible region will be a part of so many happy childhood memories.We're looking forward to hosting you at Criffel Lodge!Guest accessGuests will have use of the entire property and gardens.Other things to notePLEASE NOTE:- The lodge garden & balcony area is not enclosed.Furry friends are welcome (maximum of 2 well behaved) for an additional fee of £30.
